Happy Birthday Son Poems
Son Birthday Poems
So your son has a birthday coming and you don't know what to write in his card? We have a selection that we hope you'll find match your son's interests and your effection for him.
Poems for a son may seem a bit sentimental (unless it's coming from mom) and maybe something he might not appreciate unless that is that they are funny! See if the ones below would work for you.
Happy Birthday Son Poems
So we have a collections of poems for your son here written by our three poets Tony Kessell, Seb Rillian, and Lilly Leigh. We have tried to cover the subjects which are most relevant and hope you enjoy them.
How you can use these poems for your Son
It is up to you to you where you use these poems for your son, but we have a few suggestions here. Of course a card is a great place but you can use these in emails, read them out and use them for toasts!
Given the Year
by Tony Kessell
Given how the year has been
it's with relief that we have seen
that now at last the time has come
to celebrate my number one...son
Looking Back
by Seb Rillian
Hey son, I remember the
games of football,
the catching and fighting
the long sessions down the
park and the late nights
and trying to occupy you
on the plane flights to
Spain. I remember the
bruises and the cuts
the bashes and the bangs,
and when I dressed you
as Dracula with white
plastic fangs. Now look
at you, a year older,
growing taller,
I'm still proud.
Son it's Time
by Lilly Leigh
You are my son so listen here
in this coming changing year
it's time you learnt to wash
and the clean and using the
washing machine. And dishes,
heard of them? It's time you
learnt to wash them up and
dry them too and even wipe
around the loo. Yes, this is no
joke, don't choke or bulk,
or I will turn into the Hulk!
